Iran doc ‘Sohrab, A Journey’ to be displayed at Docunight

Iranian documentary ‘Sohrab, A Journey’ is set to be displayed at Docunight screenings in US and Canada.

Set in 1969, the film narrates the story of a young man who returns to his country Iran after years of studying cinema and going through the hardship of living abroad as a university student.

He does not want to become a filmmaker in the commercial and valueless cinema of that time, so he chooses a different and - of course - a very hard path for the making of his films.

Every first Wednesday of every month, Docunight will screen a documentary about, around, or in Iran, or made by Iranians.  Docunight screenings will take place across several cities in North America.

Docunight events are open to everyone and all films have English subtitles.
